As the Spa and Salon owner, you may not want your employees to sway outside of that basic black and white dress code, which I totally understand. However, by allowing them to bring a little color into their lives, may not be such a bad idea either.

1: Red will give you a boost of energy while stimulating your immune system. Beware of wearing read out to dinner or eating on red table clothes as red can activate your appetite. The color red evokes action and passion and a perfect color if you tend to be a procrastinator.
2: Orange will allow you to digest your emotions without holding onto stuff and encourage emotional balance and optimism. It is warm-hearted and offers a sense of community while offering a feeling of tolerance. Orange is the perfect color for social gatherings.
3: Blue is tranquil and peaceful. It has been proven to reduce pain levels and why many hospitals paint their rooms a light blue. It aids in acquiring inner peace and supports creativity. Blue is associated with the right hand side of the brain. Personally, I love painting my ceilings with a very subtle blue. It is subtle, but makes for a very tranquil feeling as well as almost a bit of an infinity feeling as if of a subtle blue sky.
4: Green refreshes, encourages growth, is balancing and healing. It is nurturing and associated with the heart. Green promotes prosperity and well being. Green is a combination of blue and yellow and can also represent the aspects of each of those colors. This is my personal favorite color…emerald green!
5: Yellow lifts your spirits and offers you a positive feeling. It evokes confidence and joy. Yellow connected to your mental thinking and improves attention to detail and academic achievement. It improves concentration and clarity of thought. Keep a bit of yellow
“sunshine” in your office or anywhere you may be surrounded by negativity.
6: Purple is known to heighten your intuition. It is similar to blue in that it offers comfort and calm. Purple is a great color for meditation. Purple has been known as the color of royalty and wearing it you will actually stand a little taller and create a sense of importance. Feeling a bit shy when having to be in a large group of people? Popping a little purple may have you waving at everyone!
